Stone coated metal roof tiles are a kind of roof tiles, which are made of metal materials and covered with colored stones on the surface. This roof tile offers the durability and waterproofing properties of metal tiles with the aesthetics of colored stone. Stone coated metal roof tiles are often used on building roofs and can provide good waterproof and fire protection while having a long service life.
The storage, transportation and loading and unloading of stone coated metal roof tiles are also very important. Inappropriate things encountered during storage, transportation and loading and unloading will also affect the use of stone coated metal roof tiles. Everyone should pay attention to the following points!
1. Storage
① It is best to store indoors and avoid stacking in the open.
· If it is stored and stacked outdoors, sleepers need to be placed horizontally under the tiles at appropriate intervals as pads, and then the tiles are stacked on top.
· Pay special attention to keeping it well ventilated and absolutely avoid placing it directly on the ground.
② Moisture-proof and dust-proof: When storing stone coated metal roof tiles, moisture-proof and dust-proof coverings, such as plastic films or dust-proof cloths, should be used to keep the roof tiles dry and clean.
③ Proper stacking: If multiple layers of tiles need to be stacked, supports should be used to separate each layer of tiles to prevent friction and extrusion between the roof tiles.
④ Strictly abide by the precautions on the labels attached to the product by the manufacturer.
2. Transportation and loading and unloading
In order to ensure the quality of the product, the following matters must be strictly observed during transportation, loading and unloading:
① Packaging: Ensure that the roof tiles are properly packaged in sturdy boxes or crates to protect them from any external impact during transportation. The packaging should be strong enough to withstand stacking and handling.
② Handling: Use proper lifting equipment, such as cranes or forklifts, to handle the boxes or crates containing the roof tiles. Avoid dropping or throwing the boxes to prevent breakage or damage.
③ Transportation method: Choose a reliable transportation method that can handle the weight and fragility of the roof tiles. Secure the boxes or crates properly to prevent movement or shifting during transit.
④ When transporting roof tiles, secure them firmly so that the roof tiles will not move due to vibration when stacked under heavy pressure. Do not accumulate excess shingle weight for shipping.
Note: Due to large or small vibrations during transportation, there will be large or small friction between the products. However, some floating sand particles will be caused. This is a normal phenomenon and is not a product quality problem.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure the safe transportation and storage of stone coated metal roof tiles, minimizing the risk of damage and preserving their quality until installation.
