With the development of solar tiles, Sangobuild has launched different solar tiles to meet different market needs.

At present, we have #Titan type and #Thor type solar tiles, here are some differences between these two types and suggestions to help you choose the one suitable for you.

First one #Titan, is a polymer solar tile which is a relatively heavy type of Sangobuild solar tile, weighing about 34kg per square meter. However, its advantage lies in its long service life can stand as long as the building, providing more durable protection for buildings.

In addition, the material of polymer solar tile is strong and can withstand large pressures and impacts, and has better wind resistance and earthquake resistance. However, because its material is more advanced, the price of its accessories will be more expensive than that of stone coated metal solar tiles.

Secondly, #Thor type is stone coated metal solar tile which is much more lightweight than #Titan

weighing about 14kg per square meter. This type of tile has a service life of 50 years.

Since its light material, it will not impose too much burden on the building which means it can be suitable for all kinds of roofing structures.

At present, #Titan is more suitable for European customers, while #Thor is more popular in Central and South America and Africa, where lightweight roofing is required.

Now notice : Sangobuild upgraded #Thor from generation 1 to generation 2. The biggest change is the increase of photovoltaic modules, which greatly improves the efficiency of photovoltaic system.

The output power of single tile has been upgraded from the original 65W to 80W, which brings the following advantages to our customers:
